About Us.

We are a small creative services agency for service-based creatives and small businesses looking to elevate their digital presence.
Studio A provides creative services to service-based creatives and small businesses who are launching or evolving their brands. Through personalized mentoring, brand development, website and social media support, and content creation, Studio A helps clients clarify their goals, strengthen their artistic identity, and grow their audience. Each client receives thoughtful analysis of their current efforts and actionable strategies for building a more aligned and effective presence.
The Founder.

Studio A was founded by Katie Adkins, a nationally published
photographer, creative director, and arts professional with a career that spans photojournalism, curation, arts administration, and nonprofit project leadership. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Katie holds a Master of Arts in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and a BBA in Management from the University of Georgia. She has worked alongside acclaimed photographers including Martin Parr and Alex Webb, and has contributed to major projects such as the High Museum of Art’s “Picturing the South” series.
Her own work — which explores identity, culture, and the layered
nature of human experience — has been exhibited in solo and juried shows across the southern and midwestern U.S., and published in outlets like The New York Times, Time Magazine, U.S. News & World Report, The Guardian, and CNN. As a freelance photographer for The Associated Press, she brings journalistic precision and visual storytelling expertise to every creative engagement.
Katie’s work is held in both private and public collections, and she is currently represented by Boswell Mourot Fine Art. Studio A reflects her belief in collaboration, thoughtful strategy, and helping others express their own layered stories through meaningful branding, design, and mentorship.
